If Tepper did move the team....

Honestly, I'd likely go back to the team I liked before the Panthers were created, the Vikings. Not that they have had too much luck lately themselves with QB's. Maybe them and the Bills since they have grown on me with all the connections we have with them and most of their fans are usually pretty cool people.

I say this every time this subject comes up.

Panthers ain’t going anywhere. Population and demographics dictates team placements, NC is the 9th largest state with  Charlotte sitting within an 1 hour 30 minute drive of many large cities in the area.

team ain’t going anywhere. This is a dead subject.

We're having a crappy season because of our dumbazz HC. We've been through this before. We're all pizzed. We'll get through it. Our team is not going anywhere.

I'd stop caring about the NFL at all. I really don't care now. I've watched two possessions since the preseason and have no plans on watching anymore until Rhule is fired.

This isn't even the real Panthers anymore. It's a dime store knock-off. Send 'em somewhere else and put the Carolinas out of its misery.

I would prefer to have the Hornets over the Panthers if I had to pick, anyway. The Panthers peaked with Cam and Luke. They'll never be good again here. No sense in wasting the city's time for a few more years. Get the hell out, and never come back.

If you don't care "at all" and you believe the Panthers will "never be good again", and you want them to "Get the hell out, and never come back."  ....

why waste one second of your time here?

TSE also has begun buying up Cedar Street property too near the stadium. Tepper ain't moving the team anywhere.

I agree, there’s really not a whole lot of untapped markets left that can handle both the Panthers and Charlotte FC, and the few markets that could don’t have near the amount money that Charlotte does.

The only city that I could see both the NFL and MLS being okay with is San Antonio.

Most are moving to escape taxes imposed by big market states.

Then they are moving to the wrong state. NC is in the process of killing what little corporate tax it has. That money will need to be replaced somehow and that means the people will be taxed even more.

As for the topic, if the Panthers move, I'll just stop watching the NFL altogether and get my football fix from college games.

I believe the NFL is at a point where relocation is no longer an option and if they want to expand they will need expansion. I know the owners probably don't want to split the pot but that for Park Ave and Roger to figure out.

I didn’t know this.  Remind me not to miss anymore staff meetings.😂

I'm a Panthers fan because they are the Carolinas team. If they leave the Carolinas, then I'm done with the Panthers. If we get a new NFL team, then I'll pull for that new team. I would never pull for this team if I were just picking a team that I liked. I don't like Baker Mayfield, Tepper, Rhule, Snow, ect. I think our coordinators are untalented, our HC is like a used car salesman, and our QB is a spastic proven loser. Why in the world would I continue to pull for this team if they moved to Mexico City, or wherever?

If I'm picking a team that doesn't represent NC then I'd choose a winner with players and coaches I liked. Having said that, I would not pull for any team unless they represent NC.

    • What I really learned here is that the Carolina Panthers aren't anywhere near as bad as I initially thought they were earlier this year.  We've got a young and growing offense with some promising parts. But it still needs some tweaks and improvements.  We really still could still use a dominant #1 WR. But Chubba,  Legette, Coker,  and J.Sanders have generally looked decent. Bryce took a big leap after the benching. We can score enough points to keep pace with 2x defending super bowl champions, so offense isn't a huge issue. Main thing that needs improvement is defense. We sorely need a CB 2, and a number of new players at Dline and LB.  We're not quite as bad at edge with Wonnum showing promise.  But we definitely need 1 or 2 more edges Clowney is old.  Run D is probably worse prevailing theme these past couple years. We really need a good young stud or two to pair with Derrick Brown and another LB to pair up with Trevin Wallace. If Morgan and Canales can focus on rebuilding the defense this off-season and possibly going out and getting a #1 WR. This team could easily be somewhere around 7-10 to 10-7 and flirting with playoffs in 1 or 2 seasons. Overall this game has made me feel alot more positive about the direction of the team.
    • With our picks we need pass rush, lb, Safety, a speedster yac wr, o line depth and I still want a mid round qb. We got 9 picks and 8 in the first 5 rounds. If they pull Off another solid draft we be cooking.
    • We had one passing touchdown against the Giants and one passing touchdown against the Chiefs today. Yes a good backup can replicate that. And that is why Andy Dalton in significantly less games has the same number of 30 point outings as Bryce Young. I am on board with you guys about wanting to be hopeful for the future. Today was a good performance to build on especially at home. But let's please keep things in perspective. BTW the Bucs who honestly aren't even that good blew the doors off the Giants today after we went to overtime against them with 17 points. Again. Perspective.
