FWIW, here are the PFF scores on defense for the season (I had to google them one at a time lol):

Derrick Brown: 77.0

Bravvion Roy: 65.7

Matt Ioaniddis: 57.2

Marquan McCall: ? (not enough snaps to qualify)

Yetur Gross-Matos: 53.2

Brian Burns: 59.8

Marquis Haynes: 64.8

Henry Anderson: 70.1

Phil Hoskins: 28.4 😳

Shaq Thompson: 49.4

Frankie Luvu: 65.3

Damien Wilson: 46.5

Cory Littleton: 59.8

Xavier Woods: 76.7

Jeremy Chinn: 54.1

Myles Hartsfield: 77.3

CJ Henderson: 62.1

Jaycee Horn: 61.4

Donte Jackson: 64.4

Keith Taylor: 60.3

Based on PFF's grading scale below, looks like we have a bunch of back-up caliber players at best, aside from just Derrick Brown, Myles Hartsfield, Xavier Woods, and Henry Anderson who are all just serviceable starters.

Based on what I have seen this list is spot on. Chinn and Burns scores are a tad low. Luvu’s score is high in my opinion. Frankie Luvu had a better game in terms of tackles, but he dropped an easy interception. Hoskins flashed last year before going on the IR but he suuuuuucks this year.

They ran that combo a few times and it looked like a major improvement. Roy is not effective, the Giants Center literally had him in a noogie on the last snap he had before getting carted off. Ioannidis is ok in pass rush but he kinda disappears in the run game

Thanks for the correction, I watched the game at my brothers with all the kids running around and missed way too much but not watching that again lol.

I thought it was Roy and McCall not Brown and McCall. Must have been the plays where the Dline looked competent.

I do not care for PFF, but DBrown had his best game. The first half it was HIS field...

McCall only got playing time because Roy pulled a hamstring, so they never got on the field together. If Roy stayed healthy McCall wouldn't have gotten a snap for obvious nepotism reasons.

    • lol It's 2 games in with a broken QB it's too early to tell. I hope Canales works out but this is still funny.
    • Man there truly is no helping the stupid that litters this place
    • This backlash has truly been sad and was part of the reason I believe Bryce was drafted in the first place. He was small and looked like a kid and everybody just loved that he was also good at football. Once I heard CJ Stroud talking on his podcast tour this summer, I was like well that is the reason he isn't here. I remember the hatred for Cam that basically arose out of him being a massive, confident, black man. Every time a new broadcast crew met him during warmups the telecast was just about how larger than life he was. I even had a friend who is close to Cam's size talk about him sucking the air out of every room goes into like being big, loud, and confident is a bad thing. And many here along with the media never showed any sympathy, empathy, or a second thought to the shite Cam had to put up with while here. Till this day it is either about the stupid fumble that didn't matter that he didn't jump on, or that he only had like one good year.  So to see this crazy backlash from the sports and social media regarding Canales benching a small, weak, entitled, non verbal QB who is playing terrible, struggling to recognize defenses, missing open WRs, and leaving clean pockets is mind blowing! Only Chase Daniels watched the film before talking this week. Everyone else used it as an opportunity pine for Bryce and crap on organization. Again, I hope someone is dumb enough to give us Josh Rosen compensation for him.
