I’m cool with it. This is a wasted season anyways. Might as well make sure we completely bottom out, and clean house at the end of the year.

So probably 6 more losses until eliminated.  Could be in as many weeks.   Wow, I remember when I couldn't wait for football season to get here, now I'm hoping it hurries along so Rhule is fired.  Sad times...

Here's hoping.  But I think Tepper gives him until playoff elimination.   That means Rhule could still be fired in-season.

I was trying to be hopeful this season but with the odd college-like training camp where even vets had to “earn there way” and the last two games literally feeling like a carry over from 2021. I am done.

And that's what is so upsetting...  he's supposedly the mastermind genius that made himself into a billionaire by always being a step ahead in his decision-making...  or at least that's the story we're fed.  (Which by the way is bullshit...  as someone who just got into investing over the last few years and see how rigged it is in favor of those who curry favor with those who matter - i.e. market makers, hedge funds, etc., it could be relatively easy to get in with the right people, learn how to game the system and then amass incredible wealth by using other people's money.  It doesnt require brilliance, it requires rubbable elbows, lack of integrity, and a willingness to kiss ass, but i digress.)

So, here, this "genius" is three years into a coach who has shown ZERO signs of improvement, is setting records for futility and losing by the week, and is holding the wheel on the darkest, worst period in the entire history of the franchise that just keeps getting worse.  The guy is fuging 1-25 when the other team scores 17 points, which is hilarious, because most teams are capable of scoring 17 points every week.  Oh, so if you have a good defense you still have a chance?  Well, he amassed a whole season's worth of those losses last year with a Top 10 defense.  It's like a ship springing leaks and everytime you think you plugged one, a new wine springs open.  It's completely hopeless.  And our self-made billionaire genius owner just sits by and watches idly, because he's smarter than everyone else and even if he isn't, has enough money to just tell us to go fug ourselves - which he is doing right now.

Statistically, we’re far from being out of the playoffs. Mentally, the collective fan base may be tapped out well before we get eliminated this year. It’s becoming painfully obviously that this year is heading towards a losing one with a rebuild/ refit on the horizon. I would imagine if Rhule’s led panthers lose next week his tail may be in Omaha, Nebraska a lot sooner than expected.
