Some of that is on Baker... Him getting happy feet isn't the Oline fault.. Him moving into sacks isn't the Oline fault.. Him not being able to see over the Oline and getting balls batted down isn't the Oline lines fault..

You must didn't watch a game last year.. This Oline last year couldn't block a simple twist or Dline stunt. And Run blocking was non existent..

I think morale is probably a serious issue at this point.  I'd like to see if he bounces back with a new staff.

He's also holding the ball a long time on those pressures/out dropping the lines sets.... 12 step drops create pressure.

Ickey also had a whiffed block where he threw himself on the ground only to have the man he was suppose to block cause a fumble and turnover.

People are so used to complaining, they complain about things that are not worth complaining about. This line has played better than any line in recent memory. They are playing better than the QB.

I think he's a rookie. That might be the reason for most of his issues.

This.... Let him take all of his lumps now and progress... LT is the second most difficult postion in football pro bowlers are by far the exception not the norm.

It's why normally you start Tackles out at RT.

It takes a year in most cases for a LT.  Less time for a RT.  Y'all know that.

That theory has actually stopped over the last few years. Modern NFL has made the RT position just as valuable as the LT. it used to be that teams would line up their best pass rusher on the weak side of the line and the strong side of the line would have a TE supporting the RT.

now with modern offenses, you have a balanced line and defenses use exotic pressures and athleticism on the sides of the line.  We are no longer in a league where the LT is tremendously more valuable than RT. It’s marginal now.

He is a rookie that came out strong in the run blocking and raw in pass protect. None of this is a surprise. Pass protect can be learned and improved especially outside of school and their limited practices. All of this was projected when he was coming out so why is anyone surprised?

Moton had a whiffed block like Ickey did where the defender ran to their insides. I am more worried about what the hell is going on with him as a vet vs the rookie doing completely expected rookie things.
