Rhule: We don't need to make any changes, we just need to battle through it right now.

Ron was better but still mediocre most of the time and not the coach to take you to sustained success.  Without a healthy Cam carrying him he has far less success.   But yes his teams could tackle at least.

Anyway I don't know if I should be mad at Rhule or impressed by how he conned his way from coaching college to this NFL job making a lot without proving anything.

We are going to have to change coaches like we change underwear until we find the right one. It was time for Ron to go and it was unfortunately never time for Rhule to be here. He should have been let go last year but Tepper sounded as if he was hell bent on proving to everyone that he was right in his hiring choice. Who knows, if we continue to lose maybe Tepper will get a clue this season and let him go then clean house with rest at end of season since many are Rhule guys. I wouldn't keep many at all from this entire staff.

All I can say positively at this point is at least we don't also have Watson. That would have been fanhood breaking with how bad it is here. So yes it could be worse.

And as far as those pining for Ron he is on his way to also getting fired while being a better coach than Rhule. We just saw a 1st year HC coaching up a team lacking talent beat us. Just because Tepper didn't hire one of those isn’t the same as them not being out there. I miss a healthy Cam way more than I miss Ron and at this point I am only looking forward to the people who haven't arived yet

I would say that its more like 75%

You are probably right. My point is change can be painful and we are going thru the painful part that most franchises go they when they have a major turnover. The grass isn’t always greener.

    • Fans are fed up with this organization's endless string of failures. And, while Morgan's less than a year into his current position, everything he's done is barreling down the same path shat out by his predecessor. If we're just pointing out this alarming lack of discrepancy between the performances of two GMs, it's really not hating. He's just proving to not be a good hire. And, hey, it's alright, because whoever Tepper hires next will, at best, only suck a little bit less. I don't mind people who are optimistic and hope Morgan turns out to be better than he's been thus far. That'd be great. None of us are rooting for him to fail. However, the embarrassing pattern of decisions persists. And it's not a good look.
    • You have to view everything that was done in 2024 through the ‘eliminate excuses for Bryce Young’ lens IMO. It only makes sense that way.     If you allow for that, you will see that Diontae fulfilled his purpose.
    • The Panthers' beat writer called the Johnson trade return "a warm bottle of RC Cola." If you're quick to discount every bit of news that disagrees with your view, maybe your view is the problem. Morgan deals himself a bad hand and he deserves every bit of criticism for it. Fitterer was the worst GM ever, but Morgan is a very similar brand of awful. Certainly when it comes to trades since 2021, Morgan's body of work makes him at best, only one of the worst negotiators in the history of North American professional sports. That's simply pointing out the numerous shortcomings he's put on display. If I point at a guy who shot someone and say "he murdered a guy," I'm not hating on him -- I'm pointing out what he did. If Morgan wants to not be labeled an incompetent clown who makes 31 other franchises better, simply stop being an incompetent clown who makes 31 other franchises better. Or, wait until Tepper makes him the fall guy after Evero.
