he gave our team exactly what it needed- a man with good judgment that could throw well when necessary, and a leader that could gel the team... well he completed this team for five years, and, like all NFL players, all things good must come to an end. Of course it is unfortunate that the end had to be so sour....regardless... he deserves a statue. (imo)

Its time to find another Jake Delhomme out there... of course it would be nice if the next QB could have more arm and better judgment under pressure... I'm sure he's out there somewhere.

This drama is uncalled for.` The man makes more in one year that I will ever see in my lifetime. I miss Jake and I love Jake, but I love the Carolina Panthers more...and the two are at odds right now.

I know one thing for sure- he has no business off the pine... Every minute he continues to make the same mistakes over and over again, the worse his mental state will become... You can't solve mental issues on the field.

jake is fat and happy. back in 03 he was still hungry and unproven w/ a chip on his shoulder. not to mention his arm is nothing like it was b/f the surgey. time to part ways w/ jake, but he was a hell of a qb for about 3 or 4 years

I wouldn't call Jake fat and happy... Sure he is very wealthy, but he wants (or wanted?) success for this team more than anything... I've been watching this team since 1996 and I can definitely say this man gives all he's got and works harder than most..

I can guarantee Jake Delhomme is not a happy man right now.

I can guarantee Jake Delhomme is not a happy man right now.

I just know lately he quickly get's into the fetal position as soon as he is threatened w/ a sack and/or pressure. He didn't use to be that way at all. It may have something to do w/ having 20 million dollars in the bank.
