We haven't seen enough of Corral to label him as anything, much less a bust. Kid has a lot of talent. He always had to be developed, but Rhule really mishandled his development.

Imagine if we traded for Baker and had completely no interest in possibly signing him long term. Of course they are going to be open to the idea.

No decision on Baker should be even considered until we see how this season plays out. I’d take Bryce and CJ with a new head coach over Baker.

I agree with you on both counts. That said, I don't blame the team for at least letting Mayfield's camp know they are open to an extension if he plays well.
