no college has produced more busts than Penn State. Their first round draft picks the past three decades have been down right embarrassing

True. Did we ever get clarification on who ran 2021? Was it Rhule the fool? The class looks like a major bust right now considering how many draft picks they had. The whiffs on Slater, Humphrey & Trey Smith are reason enough to fire someone - especially when Marshall & a long snapper that was taken just to produce a viral moment for the Panthers content team were taken over them.

Officially it was Rhule and Hurney together.

Rhule's contract gives him final say and has from the beginning. A story was leaked however that Rhule wanted to trade down but Hurney insisted on standing pad and sticking with Derrick Brown.

Could that have been meant to bolster Hurney? Unknown. Possible, I suppose.

USC is another example of school that puts out a ton of NFL draft picks that don’t live up the hype. Not as bad as Penn state.
