Will Shenault Make A Difference?

Lets avoid getting toxic here.

With Shenault most likely getting activated this week, what do you think he would add to this offense? I believe those 2-4 gadget plays with someone of his capacity could definitely put the defense in a position where they have to game plan for those type of plays. Even we are able to use Shenault for misdirection that creates more opportunities. 

What say you?

Considering we had our prized offensive player on the field yesterday and he barely got the ball, I'm not getting my hopes up.

The real question is if the coaches can put him in a position to succeed. Huge question mark there

That is the question we all should be asking following the trade and so called “depth” we were already supposed to have. 
 

We can’t do much but wait and see how ben utilizes him. We also had other guys that didn’t see any use yesterday (that were active).

On the balance of an entire season? No. Maybe a few plays here and there that are a piece to the puzzle of winning a few games though. They're just raving about his running style and run blocking, so he'll likely be a strict gadget player and I'm not sure how successful he'll be with them.

I think if they continue to build on what they started in the 2nd half he could make a difference, probably a first down or two. Baker just needs a little time and I think this offense is rolling.

He is a slow WR that can't get open.  I don't think that is going to aid us. 

Is he athletic? Sure.  But the Rioring Riot podcast basically summed it up.  You have to scheme him up and do some sort of gadget play that CMC or DJ Moore could do better.  And then it gets really predictable when you finally trot him out there because he will be coming out there for a play that requires you to scheme up something goofy.  Meanwhile, you could just have Moore or CMC do it.  Do it better.  And it be less obvious to the D. 

Unless he can put on a headset and manage the game for us.  He doesn't matter.

Only if/when CMC goes down. He is basically a backup for what CMC does in the passing game...minus the excellent blocking. Don't really care as it stands, another guy for the coaches who should be gone soon.
