TB12 was right… there is some really bad football being played in the league this year. There are a bunch of teams this year that just look outright bad.

What rules are they going to change to further handicap defenses now? They won't high flying, high scoring offense and they're gonna get it one way or the other. The primetime games have been almost universally awful this year.

I can’t find it but I saw an article from early 2021 predicting this kind of bad football, the Covid year would mess up talent scouting and exacerbate the problem in the future but the main issue is the lack of practices with the players association…I think it was espn.

We might be at the tipping point. Every team has tried to go pass happy on offense with every D built to play the pass first. You might start seeing some teams start to go back to featuring more power running attacks, especially if they don't have great QBs.
