Oh poo, I just googled him. He is a FA (didn’t even make the practice squad). The Broncos gave him a tryout 5 days ago, but we’re not impressed apparently.

I'm saying YOU and Rhule don't know what a QB looks like.

Carson Strong was a career 70%passer last two seasons.

That's better than anyone in the QB room in recent history except the guy on IR.

Teams are pretty much set, no surprise. He'll get another call. It's much harder for UDFA and 3rd rounders than first round BUSTS like your boys Baker and Sam, so yeah, keep up the jokes.

Your boy sucks. He's too short, too slow NOT consistent as he showed today if you weren't watching we need a good performance for more than half a game to win.

Not really. Just calling it how I see it. There's nothing overly emotional about it. Buti, if it makes you feel better about your espousing strawman nonsense, then fine.

I have gone on record of saying that Corral might be done (at least here). Such is the way that careers go when your introduction to the NFL is bungled. That being said, I hadn't thought about Corral in a couple of weeks, much less today.

Baker having to prove himself as a legit franchise-level QB as opposed to a glorified backup shouldn't be that difficult to understand. I'm genuinely rooting for him, but he did little today to prove to me that he is still anything but a question mark.

If you were evaluating him fairly at this point it would be a lot more positive in his first game with a new team and offensive coordinator. Sure he sucked out of the gate but remember when you could tell how it was going to go with Jake and even Cam early in their career when if they started out bad it rarely got better. Baker made good adjustments in the second half. The things franchise guys do.

Excuses. I am evaluating him fairly. You're not. Comparisons to Cam and Jake are disingenuous. Baker is a seasoned vet for better or for worse. He has to do better. Get over it.

Baker is not really that experienced given Kitchens probably set him back and he was injured most of last year and picked up bad habits. His one great year in 2020 is likely where he learned to play pro football from a competent OC. Hopefully McAdoo will be able to help him keep gaining knowledge  and experience. But no he is isn't close to his ceiling  in this offense not even close

Well, he absolutley shouldn't be close to his ceiling. I'm expecting greater things from Baker. I feel that he can do it, but I have to go on more than just a feeling. Like I said: next week.

Yeah I have seen enough qbs to know when a qb is a legitimate pro QB and Baker has it.  But he still needs good coaching, a scheme that matches his abilities and time in the same system to master it. So far he hasn't that much of the three.

Tom Brady would be a question mark, if the center cannot consistently snap the ball properly. Garrett and Elflien had a huge impact on this game.

It's going to take five years for the rest of you to figure out what most of us already know.

Baker=Sam

Both Fhules Gold

Completely disagree. I saw more from Mayfield than I have ever seen from Sam Darnold. Baker is a legitimate QB, similar to Cousins. Our defense and center cost us today, period.

Baker lost the game in the first half. He's as inconsistent as he was in Cleveland, THATS why he's gone. Same thing here. We would have won if not for his bad first quarter.

To be elite to be a starter you have to put together 4quarters NOT two. Cleveland knew this guy's.

You guys are making him into something he's NEVER been.

LOL to anyone who think Bakers a franchise guy. As I told you guys.... he had the best roster in the NFL his one good year in 2020 and only won one playoff game because the Steelers had 7 players out and Mason Rudolph at QB and he barely won. The Browns knew he was ass and was the weak link and wanted him out so bad they gave a sexual predator the largest contract in history guaranteed. Dude sucks. Slightly and I mean slightly better than Darnold and got out played by Brisset. Imagine thinking he could carry a team to a Super Bowl. Oh and you want him back next year on a franchise tag at 30 mill and not sign Chinn/Burns. Been telling yall this all offseason. Oh and Rhule sucks.

lol didn’t you think Darnold was a legitimate pro? If I’m wrong; I’ll accept that, but I could’ve sworn you were saying similar about Sam.
