Heads up re: Field conditions

Spoke with the Panthers yesterday. They are facing a challenge with the rain all weekend and the field. Charlotte FC plays today and the Panthers tomorrow.

The rain presents issues with painting the field, no time to dry. So whatever they decided on with the paint it isn't permanent, just for this weekend.

I care less about the appearance and more about the quality and potential for injuries. The field is going to be poo.

You say that like we are the only team in the nfl with a turf field. Yes turf is risky, but it’s not like we are rolling them out there on a gravel mesh mat….

 

One could argue that turf is safer in wet conditions than natural grass due to slipping and getting your foot caught in the soft ground while being tackled.

Haha. Is there a big laundry list of complaints from Panthers players or Charlotte FC players? I’ve heard a few guys say they like grass better, but that’s it. STFU
