Really happy all those former panthers coaches and front office staff in Buffalo are doing well

Yeah idk what he's going on about. In 2020 Henry led the league in touches per game and he got banged up and missed games. In 2019 CMC led the league in touches then proceeded to be on pace to do so again the last two seasons and has missed multiple games along the way. Looking at the list of last years leaders in RB touches several of them have dealt with their own injuries.

then you got guys like LT2 who basically touched the ball 400 times a season over and over and over and over.

and you can find guys that barely play and yet can never stay on the field because of injury.

if you are going to pay someone carry the team money.  Then you got to use him IMO.  But we should get away from paying RBs.

Absolutely you are correct. But the league is just different now and as you say it is just not wise to pay big money to running backs when you can draft them in later rounds and keep moving.

Everyone knows CMC is a great piece to have. But we are the Carolina Panthers not the Carolina McCaffrey's. A good coaching staff can implement gameplans to both exploit mismatches with CMC and open up opportunities for other playmakers at various points within games. This offense really needs versatility not more of the same square peg round hole philosophy.

You can both feature him heavily AND run a varied offense. Bad coaches or badly built teams can only do one at a time.

Can Rhule handle this? We're going to find out.

If only we would've had a competent GM that could recognize talented coaches.

Id only we would've had an owner that knew a competent GM when he saw one.

The jury is still out on the current GM. He was hired by the new head coach who was hired by the last GM who was fired by the owner for being the incompetent boob that he is. Rap your head around that sh!t.

I should've said current owner that is. Although I'm hard pressed to tell which have been the worst.

Yes, their going to.manage to play them more than you or anybody else wants them to, and you'll still pass and moan.

Once again, there is zero evidence it extends a career. They could just as easily get hurt on less touches. You don't pay CMC to limit him 15 touches a game, and you will never see it.

Ask our former quarterback how that works.

Maybe 1 or 2 of Allen's runs were called plays. Dorsey knows better although they need to run him a couple of times just to keep the D guessing and needing to cover him. The rest were his decision to run with the ball. He has said himself recently that he needs to run less and learn to slide when he does instead of running into people. I can imagine that it's difficult to control yourself with the adrenaline running through your veins.

I can't help but laugh at those thinking the Pegula's are geniuses. Doug Marrone walked away from the HC job when they bought the team. Walked away. Then they hired Rex Ryan who brought along his brother. If you think Rhule is bad, omg. At least he's more calm than Rex ever could be even if in a college-ball type of way. As new owners, they learned their lesson. I hope Tepper does too.

Ralph Wilson brought the Bills to Buffalo when I was 8. Been a huge fan ever since. Used to fall asleep listening to Van Miller calling the game. I grew up less than 10 miles from the stadium. It's in my blood.

The major difference between the current Bills and the Cam era Panthers has much more to do with the management of the team than it does coaching. McDermott is a better overall coach compared to Rivera but Beane is lightyears better than Gettleman. Hurney fuging sucks as well but Gettleman was the GM during our obvious Superbowl window (2013-2017) The Panthers would have won a Super Bowl in spite of Rivera if Gettleman wasn't completely incompetent.

Beane went out and got a proven WR in Diggs. Gettleman cut Steve Smith when we had jack poo at wide receiver without any plan to replace his production. Oh course Smith went on to tear it up with the Ravens until he blew out his achilles. He did the same thing with Josh Norman. He tried to replace pro bowl talent with draft picks when the team was/ should have been in "win now" mode. After Smith, Olsen was the only proven commodity Cam had to throw to during his prime in Carolina. He could have traded for Brandon Marshall in 2015 who had 1500 yards and 14 tds that year catching balls from Ryan Fitzpatrick. A proven receiver sure would have been nice to have in Super Bowl 50. Instead we were relying on Jerrico Cotchery.

Oh and can't forgot about the offensive line like Gettleman did for his entire tenure here. How many rumors were there about Joe Thomas but we didn't want to give up multiple draft picks for him. Or giving a ridiculous sum of money to an injured turnstile Matt Khalil instead of trading for a proven LT like Duane Brown. Once again in 2017 we probably would have made some noise in the playoffs with capital invested into the offensive line and wide receivers. We would have beat the Saints if our starting receivers weren't fuging Kaelin clay and Devin Funchess.

If you get lucky enough to land a franchise QB, you better go all in to try and win it all when you have the chance because that window can close in the blink of an eye.

You are probably to young to know the Bills actually lost four SuperBowls in a row....

You're probably too old to know that anyone can Google anything. You don't have to have lived through the Great Depression to know about it.
