The way the NFL counts it, you have to appear in a certain number of games to get credit for an accrued season.

My guess is he probably wouldn't have made it over Kalon Barnes if he hadn't left for Miami.

Can’t blame Barnes.  When you look at our CB depth he was probably looking for an easier path.

No. Once stashed on PS that’s when they have to be on the 53 although I think there is also a $$$ case when if you offer them a large enough bonus that’s considered “better” but I can’t recall those exact details. So, basically you have to add them to 53 if they are on a PS. Technically, he wasn’t on our roster at all when they claimed him.

Possible, but if that's the direction he takes someone should make sure he knows that the OC is now Matt Patricia and not Josh McDaniels.
