Agreed... Plus cb is a strength right now so it would be hard for him to make it... I hope he clears waivers and returns still high up side

Things that surprised me:

  • Zylstra getting cut (I think the trade yesterday bumped him off the 53)
  • Zane going to season ending IR (I thought they might hold him until tomorrow)
  • The number of DT types we kept
  • Darryl Johnson (DE) getting cut

EDIT: I predict Sam will go on short-term IR tomorrow to make room for a kicker

Sam wouldnt have to go on IR to make room since there already is room with Zane going to IR. When Sam does go to IR, we can bring in someone else.

Yeah, he would. Our initial 53 doesn't include a kicker.

They're planning on signing a kicker after Sam is IRed.

Burris is a bit of a surprise. He was solid last year. A little surprised at Kenny Robinson too, I know he didn’t have a great game in one of the preseason games, but I didn’t think he’d get cut. Hope Barnes makes it to the PS, not that I expect he’s some hot commodity, but we did spend a draft pick on him a few months ago.

4 Tight Ends and 7 Wide Receivers ??

a bit of over kill at TE especially since they can’t catch .  ( I’d love to have to eat those words )

I’d personally rather have  Brandon Zylatra than TMJ ( TMJ , also known as Decoy ,, they put him out there and hope someone will cover his “potential “)  At least we’ve seen Zylastra make catches in a game

      Pretty much the same, but I would squeeze Tet between Warren and Walker.

      What wr prospect is big, not too fast, can't catch and has an injury? That has Panthers draft pick all over it.
