Didn't remember so I rewatched the video. That's not exactly how it went.

Fitterer called Alabama player personnel guy Bob Welton to ask about Brown, most likely because they had been discussing him prior to that.

After he relayed what the coach had said, Rhule responded "If he's there, I think we take him."

OG:  Brady Christensen (T), Austin Corbett, Cade Mays (C) Michael Jordan

OC: Bradley Bozeman (G), Pat Elflien (G)

OT: Ikem Ekwonu, Taylor Moton, Cam Erving (Swing)
