Did you have someone else in mind attainable with 6th and 7th round picks as compensation?

No one in mind, just wondering why get a receiver with a 10% drop rate. I guess they think he's an upgrade over someone. He's a let-down though amid the Mims banter. Granted the compensation for Mims  would have presumably been higher.

He’s going to be used out of the back field and in the slot.

He’ll have a larger role once CMC goes down. He’ll help with our lack of production from the TE spot.

Jacksonville was having him line up out wide sometimes and that’s not his strength.

McAdoo knows Viska. I’d like to think McAdoo has a plan for him and that’s what’s going to make this a good trade

Mims is a completely different player. We have enough guys that line up out wide. How many of those do you want?

I assume he’ll be lined up in backfield nearly as much as the slot. Watch the video on him posted earlier and I think you’ll warm up to him (especially for a 6th/7th)

Something about him makes me think he is going to be a valuable future piece to the puzzle and be a solid benefit to the team. He just has that vibe to me. Kind of like the Stephen Davis pick up was years ago. I knew he could play but I wasn't thinking it would be super special and then BOOM we caught some lightning in a bottle. I feel like this guy could be it as well for some strange reason. Stats aren't bad at all for where he was. Compare him to our TMJ and there is no comparison at all. He has been available to play and has shown up a d gotten open to make the catches he has. I think he will be a good player for us as time goes on.

If the panthers go DJ, robbie, TMJ, shi, shenault, higgins. They'll have 5 WRs that don't play any snaps on special teams unless they carry 7 and keep zylstra?. I guess they could cut the fat somewhere else but still need to fill depth on the DL. Makes me think one of robbie or TMJ might actually get dealt.

It's cool. A 6th & 7th is really nothing in the grand scheme of things, even for a guy with an injury history that drops 1 out of 10 passes.

Has some nice YAC, but his drop rate ticked up last year.

The biggest complaint from Jacksonville fans is that he dropped a lot of catchable passes. I am sure film of him was looked at before the trade was made. We will find out if this was sour grapes from Jacksonville fans or not.

As many as we can get. Just being honest.

And especially for a guy who gains 600+ yards in each of his first two seasons in the league. 23 years old
