interesting convo about jake post game

I'm just wondering what the backup QBs must be thinking about all this. They watch Jake throw pick after pick, week after week, only to hear Mr. Fox repeatedly claim that Jake "gives this team the best chance to win." I played QB from Pop Warner right up through hs/college, and I would feel totally disrespected if my hc thought that a qb averaging 2 turnovers a game over his last 12 games is a better option than giving me a shot? Whew! Those dudes may need to sit on the same off-season therapy couch that Delhomme's going to need!

Here's an idea...since Fox is hesitant to bench Delhomme, why not have a game plan formulated that alternates quarters with him and Moore? I know it sounds like I'm grasping at straws, but SOMEthing needs to change, and outside of Delhomme dragging his dismembered appendages behind him, Foxy is determined to play him. I can here the interview now..."I know he's a bit banged up right now, but I believe he gives us the best chance for the direction we're moving." For a team on life support, he'd be right!

I wish the Panthers were emotionally attached to winning.

I think they enjoy the pity talks and hand shakes they get when they head onto the field after the game.
