He didn’t play well when he played. 17 catches in 13 games. 8.1 ypr and 56% catch rate. That’s not playing well and being on ice. There’s a lot of guys at camps like Shi Smith who look good and teams could easily pass on TMJ since they have to put him on the 53.

We always overrate our own players in here. Before training camp, I would have thought differently but after, a WR that we don’t seem worthy of being WR6 on the Panthers isn’t going to be sought after.

You shouldn't judge a receiver, especially a rookie that barely played by his catches or his catch rate (especially in a disjointed offense). TMJ hardly played. Some of that was injury, and some of that is just Rhule's overall philosophy. One man's trash is another's gold. It's much too early for teams to be giving up on TMJ (and probably Mims as well).

I think if it was up to Rhule he'd trade Terrace for pennies b/c he still has the college mentality to like players like CJ Saunders who show up early, play through injuries, and work hard even though they have zero talent and that's not how the NFL works.

Saunders looks like he plays well enough to be depth, but he'll never be a star.

Edit: I was thinking Wright. He just might be better than anyone thought.

I didn’t say to give up on him but your statement that he didn’t play well because he’s been hurt and that’s not correct. He hasn’t played well when out there AND he’s been on ice. It’s early so he can turn it around but it’s not looking good so far.

That said, we picked him instead of the best young C in the game so he needs to produce because 2nd round picks should produce early as well.

Dude, he's hardly played. How you can make all kind of judgments on basically no snaps is beyond me. His issue is not performance, it's availability due to injury.

He played 13 games last year of did you not realize that because he did so little?

Have you not watched our 6th round WR outplay him tonight?

We should have taken Humphrey over Marshall. Marshall is our WR5 right now.

What happened last preseason? The most yards of all receivers? Lack of availability allows the next man up to outshine you and the coach to lose a little faith in you.

Games played (in) is a joke when you're not getting any appreciable amount of snaps. Come on, man.

You're trying to convince the Huddle that no one will pick him up; I'm telling you that someone absolutely will.
