For me, Howard has always been in the category of "guys who are probably never gonna be as good as people thought they'd be".

He plays well enough to keep getting jobs, but doesn't seem to stick anywhere for all that long.

All that said, he's probably better than anything we've currently got on roster.

I really don't get how OJ Howard failed. He was the next can't-miss TE prospect with elite size, measurables and pass catching ability. I guess he never improved his route running and then his achilles tear effectively ended his career.
