Moore could but Jarrett is not gonna have success. He cant get any separation from his DB.

How can you talk of receivers when our current ones can barely get the ball? Our receivers are more than adequate and will all show what they have when we have someone who can get the ball to them. We know what King can do, Moose as well, Rosario is solid and Jarret is showing promise. Hell even Barnidge has made some catches he prolly should not have made the way Joke is throwing. Overthrows, overthrows, overthrows....

Jarret should be starting opposite Smith now. Moose just isn't that guy anymore, and is hurting Jake and vice versa. Jarret could at least learn from starting and maybe progress.

I'd say two Super Bowl MVPs that are still playing at a high level would qualify as 2 good receivers.

I disagree that Jake has no other options. How can anyone become an 'option' when they aren't going to get a look anyways? Jake locks in on his receiver from the snap, there are no 'primaries', or 'secondaries', or third option with him. That's been the knock against him the past few years, and teams have figured him out. We're wasting a fine running attack because we don't have the passing game to keep teams 'honest' anymore. I want to see if Moore can 'check down' on his receivers, and deliver to the open man consistently. I believe we have some 'options', they just haven't been utilized enough.....

I find it very difficult to judge our receiving corps. The horrid QB play and questionable play calling really makes it difficult for me to place any blame on the receivers.

Smith is obviously a beast. Moose has shown flashes of his old self but is probably best suited as a #3 WR and blocking specialist. I really have no idea what to think of Jarret. Rosario and Barnidge seem to come down with anything thrown their way, which is normally a wobbly ball 2 feet over their head and 3 feet behind them. King is also pretty sure handed.

I really believe that on another offense with another QB all three of tightends could be VERY legitimate threats. Barnidge and Rosario could run almost any route and King would be used for check downs and underneath routes.

Too bad there's that damn rule that Barnidge isn't allowed to play on offense until 3 minutes left in the 4th quarter when the game is well out of hand.

I like Moose, but lets face the facts: He's getting old, and has lost the edge he once had in his prime. I like Kenny Moore. Start him. Jake gets scared when he sees a DBack near his WR. So he overthrows to avoid an INT, because he knows how short of a leash he's on right now. Now that Moore is gonna start, his job is REALLY at stake. If Moore kicks some serious ass, then Delhomme can kiss his starting job goodbye.

But a good QB who spreads it out better. It all comes out in the wash it takes a complete football team to win a Super Bowl.
