Going into training camp I thought this was the weakest link. I still do.

What makes it so bad is in order for Jake to do well, he has to have better options to choose. He simply hasn't had any.

Ultimately I think Foxy's loyality will undo him.

for jake apologist, the Turnovers are mostly the fault of our Wide Receivers and play calling, not jake.

But to just throw this out there for the 5th year running: It would be nice to have a legit number 2 WR.

Moose was that last year -- and I think he can still be a quality No. 2 or No. 3.

Like others have said, let's see if a change at quarterback and playcalling can benefit some of the receivers on this team. Because if we're going by play this year, Steve Smith might not cut it as a legit No. 1 receiver (and we all know that simply isn't the case).

It's funny how many people are willing to give Smith the benefit of the doubt and blame his lack of success this year on Jake, but they won't do the same for Moose or Jarrett.

Im making the point of how BOTH go hand in hand. Better WR's would help Jake and and a better QB would help the WR's.

Also making the point that not addressing that over the offseason did nothing to put Jake or your team in a better spot to win.

I think it's a bit of a stretch to say Moose wasn't a good receiver last year.

I think we have a good WR in Moore but Fox dose not seem to think so..... It is apparent that Jarrett is not gonna pan out. Yea he has great ball skills but they dont mean Jack if he cant get away from any DB. We also could use Barndge who is a very good Pass catching TE with speed. Fact is we and the Vike are not that much different except they have a head coach and a QB.
