Yeah and somehow Darnold played his best in our first 3-4 games of the year after all that lack of prep. It’s almost like..it’s pretty silly to overreact to every single aspect of the off-season and preseason.

I was very critical of Rhule of accepting the 5th year Option for Sam Darnold before he even played a snap. I was very critical of Rhule of how they got rid of Cam the first go round. They should have kept him instead of Teddy B. I did not want Teddy B at all. I didn't like the hiring of Joe Brady because he wasn't even the one calling plays at LSU lol

That's more like it. Teddy was on a higher end contract but it wasn't something that was going to hurt us for years. He was mediocre but if Matt had not panicked we would not have backed ourselves into a corner forcing the Darnold situation. This is all due to his own impatience and after much talk of a slow process rebuild initially too. All we have gotten the last two years is double talk and bad decisions followed in some cases by what become even worse decisions. So if all of this is true the criticism should not bother you.

It would actually be a good swap. Harbaugh for Rhule. Harbaugh belongs back in the NFL. 

He may be a discipline freak but he's also a former long time NFL QB.

I'm not sure the Michigan alum would allow Rhule to be the guy.  Can't really sell them on going from Harbaugh to Rhule.

Judging by how Rhules teams played against Oklahoma and Georgia I don't think he's the kinda coach they're looking for.

I love Matt Rhule. He'd be an absolute GREAT coach for Michigan if Harbaugh came back to the NFL. I'm sincere. I really think he made the jump too quickly. Id take the money too. Not his fault.
