I think the "former 1st-round pick" designation loses a bit of weight when we're talking about a 2016 1st-round pick lol.  Draft position is pretty irrelevant after a couple years.

Nothing to do with his draft pick position.

Everything to do with the fact that teams don't seem to care to keep him around.

The Bears and Browns have released some players.  Nobody I would be interested in.

My post was about the tweet.  I'm saying I think it's been long enough to drop the "former 1st-round pick" designation for players like Treadwell who have bounced around the league for 6+ years.

Jenkins was the guy the Bears took when we traded down with them in 2021 draft.

I didn't like Jenkins as a prospect and simply thought he wouldn't cut it.  Now they are trying to ditch him.
