The Next QB...

What the hell is the love affair with Jason Campbell? What has he done in Washington to make him such a HOT commodity? I don't get it.

I also don't get the negative feelings everyone has about Matt Moore. I don't believe the "Coaches don't trust him" outlook. If they didn't trust him why hold onto him in the first place. I believe he is going to surprise alot of people and outside of some "rookie" mistakes he is going to do well. We stole him from Dallas because he was something special. With his limited time in 07 with the Panthers he should have swept 3 playoff teams.

We should be evaluating him. Win or lose. If he rattles and falls apart like Carr did. Cut him. But if he plays well and shows he can handle the position we use our picks for something other then a QB. He doesn't have to be Manning, Brady or Big Ben. Play solid, make smart decision and I think we can beat ANYONE.

Campbell is young.Big Arm.Best suited for our type of offense and not the WCO they are running there now.

Regardless how Matt Moore plays, we need to draft a QB.

Even if Moore shows to be awesome, still draft a QB.

I've got confidence in Moore, I'm even excited to watch the team play this weekend cause Moore is starting. That being said, we have to add talant to the position, and make sure there is serious competition at the position.

My concern is that he will perform average or slightly above average and folks are going to go nuts with the "MOORE IS THE NEXT TOM BRADY" BS. It's the Bucs. They're 1-9 for a reason.
Yet they are playing hard, and playing VERY good defense right now.

I see you have already wrote them off though.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. Tampa looked good last week against a pretty beat up Falcon's O. Over all, they're giving up tons on the ground which means teams don't have to throw on them so their passing D and total D stats appear solid when they're really not. Just like ours. Folks are going to over-value his performance tomorrow. I'm looking at it as a tune-up and we'll see what he has next week.

Moore is younger, got a big arm and has already run our offense. Should have been 3-0. (Still cannot let go of the game the officials took away from us against Dallas)

Campbell is in his 4th season with Washington. Have they even sniffed .500 since he was QB. He is about a notch or two above David Carr. NO NO NO NO NO NO To Campbell. I would rather Keep Jake.

Kolb or Quinn maybe but I normally don't talk about players that are under contract.

Since when have the Redskins had a good complete team? Campbell is one of the very few QBs in the league, if any, that can say they have improved in overall completion percentage and QB rating each year since they've been in the league. And he's done this on a very bad team. If you think he's only slightly better than Carr and worse than Jake, you are very misinformed.
