Josh Allen helps, too. A great QB makes coaches and GMs look good. Put Josh Allen on our roster and you’d all be singing the praises of Rhule and Fitt. Panthers need a break at QB.

Ehhh I agree to an extent but I still think Matt Rhule is an inferior coach to McDermott. Also Brandon Beane has been one of, if not the best, GM since starting at Buffalo. I'm excited for Fitts future but he's got a long way to go to prove himself like Beane has.

Ultimately I agree having a stud QB solves a lot of issues but the Bills are a contender due to the team they've built and coached around Allen in addition to the talent himself.

Nope. It would be a Texans/Watson or Lions/Stafford situation. Hell even a Rivera and Shula/Cam in some ways.

I agree a QB is paramount but put them with inept coaching who can only surround them with trash and a career will be wasted.

Rhule and Fit have not shown anything that even puts them at that level let alone average.

Anyways, the McD/Beane fiasco while clinging to Hurney is a great example of the failure of this franchise.

I made a point Beane was the future and should be the one to replace Hurney. Told again by the typical crew how wrong I was and how much better Gettleman was for the Panthers future. I obviously had zero clue on Beane's trajectory in the NFL.

I knew Gettleman was a path to missed opportunity and a long winter for the Panthers, and once again history proves me correct.

McD is a great coach but would Tepper allowed him to be the coach or would he have been a meddling owner just as he is now.  Tepper has not been a good owner and for a franchise to be successful it needs 1). Great coach  2). Great GM   3). An owner that lets the great coach and great GM to do what they do best....and stay out of their way.
