Do we have a starting QB announced yet?

from what ive heard if Baker didnt win the Job Panthers were going to release him. But with Corral going down that might change things.

I think it's obvious he will name the starter for the third pre season games. Reps where already starting to lean in favor of Mayfield. I think, now with even less media involvement in the next week of practice, Baker will start getting 90% of the reps, and we will know this "competition" is over.

Something Panthers media didnt mention is Baker struggled a lot against the Pats. He really couldnt move the ball at all..

While reports of Sam was that he was stuggling and threw picks, he was also the only QB that could move the ball against New Englands ones and apparently had the best drive of the joint practices his final drive 2 min drill. 

 

Rhule is always mentioning "Unconscious Mastery of the System".. Sam is Closer to that than Baker.

 

Both Rhule and Mcadoo want Darnold. Not seeing how Baker wins the Job unless the owners forces him too.

We're shook because of the Corral injury. We were planning to run a wishbone offense with Darnold taking the snap and Mayfield and Corral flanked out behind him so that the defense didn't know who would actually be throwing the ball. Now we have to decide a whole new game plan.
