In all fairness … Kyle Dugger is a big boy and running at full speed. Stopping that man at his velocity would have taken a brick wall with support.

Yeah he is learning his feet better be set on every block in this league. NFL safeties can hit harder than college linebackers.

Hes also moving laterally and the safety has 6-8 yards of momentum.... The huddle doesn't physics.

You may as well be comparing Aaron Donald struggling and developing as a rookie to Vernon Butler/Derek Brown as rookies.

The good news we can just pull the articles from last year. He graded out a 27 in pass protection in his preseason game. It’s funny because they are asking if he is going to be a bust just like you are with Icky.

Fact: Sewell did not struggle at RT. His position he had been working on in the offseason/training camp. He struggled at LT until the starting LT could get back and went back to RT. He was made to adjust on the spot and still only allowed 1 sack.

He pulled up a article saying he was graded low in Preseason and gave up more than 1 sack in preseason (just like Ikey)..

So while you totally missed the point about this being a preseason conversation.. Not a regular season.. Since Ickey hasn't played in a regular season game.. So how are you dismissing the comparison?? Based on Sewell Regular season play...

He was drafted for the sole purpose of being their RT where he had reps/practiced. That’s where he lined up in that preseason game he struggled. He did have to switch during the actual season to LT (a position he played his whole college career) and struggled off and in with that. You are complaining about Icky struggling in a PRESEASON game. The same type of game Sewell struggled as a rookie last year in the position he was drafted to play. Icky was also just named the starting LT before the game and has had reps in practice as LG also.
