I'm sitting here pleasantly surprised the game was as close as it was for as long as it was...

Also nobody mentioned that since 20 starters didn't play and the Pat's played most of their starters halfway thru the 2nd qrt.. Our backup played more and theirs were fresh as fug...

I was impressed honestly, our 2nd string did far better than anyone could reasonably ask them too.... The panic mode over a bunch of 3rd and 4th string guys who won't be on the team in a few weeks is absurd even for "tehh huddle".

Those two dropped INTs were so bad.

Corral has a nice quick release and decent mobility but he looks a loooooong way away from seeing an NFL field in a meaningful game.

TBH, in terms of poise and composure specifically, he reminds me a lot of Darnold and Pickles.  It just looks horrible.  Happy feet, just tossing the ball up when he feels pressure, and despite being athletic, it looks like his legs are dead when he tries to take off to scramble.  And yeah, those picks were about as bad as it can get.

I understand he came from a very remedial offense in college and there's a steep learning curve, but that has very little to do with your decision making once the ball is snapped.  I get he doesn't know fully what he's looking at yet, but that tossing the ball up like he is just looks like one of those traits that guys don't do/have if they're going to be any kind of good.

In comparison, Zappe looked damn good and composed.  He only fuged up on the pick because he clearly doesn't have a strong arm and he locked on to a sideline throw and threw it late.  That's gonna happen to even the most seasoned QB on any late throw to the sidelines.  Outside of that play, he was composed, decisive, showed great anticipation, and for the most part, accuracy.  It looked like night and day in contrast with Corral.

Name them... Please take the time look at the roster and actually do a depth chart..

And remember you're only keeping 9 Dlinemen and 9 Olinemen..

2nd string OL is going to consist of Erving, Elfein, Mays, and probably Jordan. Two guys on that list can't stay healthy so that guarantees Tecklenburg, Brown, or Daley suiting up.

2nd string DL consists of a bunch of JAGS. Haynes is the only serviceable one out of that group.

Ickey, BC, Moton, Bozeman, Corbin, Eflin, Erving, Mays, Jordan, That's 9 right there..

If you have to go to your 8th and 9th Olinemen then your probably fuged anyway.. No team goes 10 deep with quality Olinemen.. They barely go 7..

And Dlinemen you need to check the roster and your numbers again..

Oh and let's not even include the fact we can add players after cuts..
