No the point is other then "I can see this because I've watch football for 50 years" and By my watching football I can see he isn't good"

Instead actual data and information to Express why this move or that move is wrong...

You're basically saying "Rhule made the move so its wrong.. And I know this because I watch football"..

Nah. I've said why I think certain moves of his have been bad multiple times.

As far as the appeal to authority thing, I'd put it this way:

Let's say you build a house. It falls down after about five days.

You build another. It lasts a total of nine days, but also falls down.

You give it one more try, and the final one makes it for seven whole days. But yeah, still falls down.

Now, chances are you didn't do everything wrong when you built these houses, but you did enough that they weren't stable and now they're all flat.

Seeing that, I don't necessarily need to be a certified engineer or have twenty years of home building experience to some to a pretty simple conclusion.

You're a bad house builder.

That's how it works...

The old Rivera would never play rookies over vets, glad to see he is more open minded now.  Also Howell has looked a lot better than Corral so it does make sense.  Corral just needs a little more time.  I do look for PJ to get released soon so Corral can at least get some reps with the 3s.

Did Chip Kelly have this many stans in the Eagles fanbase? Hell at least he actually won some games. Back to back five win seasons. Three divisional wins in two years. Matt Rhule doesn't need you to defend his honor he needs his team to perform better because he's been calling the shots.

Why don't we see how he does with an actual decent QB and decent o-line before we completely right him off.  I think everyone knows this year is either now or never.  He had freaking Teddy Bridgewater and Sam Darnold as his starting QBs...and the worst o line in the league.  Having a healthy CMC will go a long way as well.

Rivera is playing for an owner who might legitimately end up in jail so I don't think he gives a sh*t he's just doing what it takes to win at this point. No pressure hahahha

Are we now going to act like Rhule, who was very heavily involved in personnel, and coach hiring, didn’t create his own issues?

the reason people are so pissed at this clown is that 100% of the issues are self inflicted

…because after all, he is the smartest guy in the room.  Just ask him …he thought he could get just anyone and ‘coach ‘em up’ in the Nfl

3 years later … here we are

My hope is for these players whose careers are so so short and for the fans who pay hard earned money to attend, is that the nfl assistant level coaches are good enough to save the year or at least have this team look like it belongs in the NFL

Exactly! They come off like they know football but don't know poo. Just because they are a constant poster on these forums means that their opinion holds weight and if you go against them then you are a Rhule defender. Rhule has gotten some stuff wrong and he has not gotten everything right. I particularly didn't agree with taking on Sam's 5th year option before he proved himself.

When Rhule does something right it's either Fitt did it or Tepper forced him to do it. Certain people refuse to give him any type of credit. I would respect it a lot better if people came out and say that they have a bias towards him instead of trying to hide it.

@WOW!!You are spot on

Any team that starts a rookie this year will not have a winning season. Corral does not need to be taking reps vs. 1s right now. Getting more reps, yes, but not vs. 1s. Mayfield should be getting ALL of those.

Lol.

The first sentence may have been bold, but I get what he is saying.  Most of these rookies aren't ready to lead a franchise to a winning season yet with the exception of maybe Pickett.  You along with many of these analysts have stated none of them are ready and shouldn't be drafted in the first round (and they weren't outside of Pickett).  It's Baker's team (this year) and he is new to the roster so he needs all of the reps with the 1s he can get.  Corral needs to make progress with the 3s/4s before he jumps up to the 1s.  We definitely need to ditch PJ if Sam is going to be our backup and let Corral get his reps in the meantime.

    • You pay the man and show that we keep our promises to good players. It will go a long way toward building confidence in free agent pick ups. And don't eff around with the O-line. It is finally working. Let it cement and build around that.
    • All QBs have limitations  I guess it becomes how much of the offensive playbook is gutted to accommodate those limitations ..and the world shouldn’t have been given up for a game manager …but, if he can be enough of a game manager for one season, and allow for BPA in this year’s draft, that’s a win to me as the Panthers have so many holes now.  I’m encouraged that Morgan will fill them im also encouraged that Canales will move on from Young if, and when, appropriate…as HC, it’s about more than just his Offensive playbook     I am glad for Young…no harm in being glad for his improvement.  the tale of  his tape is coming with all but one probable playoff team on the schedule i would love to see them move on from Evero…even when he had players, there was always a reason they couldn’t get off the field.  Salah, come on down
    • "Our O-Line is finally good, so we should get rid of the most consistent guy we've ever had at RT and roll the dice on a rookie in the draft because it's cheaper." -Idiots Ever heard the idiom "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush"? Moton is a Pro Bowl level Tackle. Extend Moton 3 years with the ability to cut bait at 2 if decline in play happens due to age. Look at drafting a tackle in the mid-rounds who is raw but has potential, and let him learn under Moton for a season or two. If he shows progress and looks like he can be the heir apparent, then move on from either Moton or Icky and have the newest guy slide in to the vacant T spot. If Icky continues to play well (And he has played very well this year, people are being chuds about him based on last year) then extend him too. You can't sit here and bitch about how "We AlWaYs GeT rId Of OuR bEsT pLaYeRs" then turn around and bitch when we extend said best players. Who gives a poo if we have a ton of money tied up in the line? That's where you should invest the team's money. O-Line makes the offense run. Hell, draft an O-Lineman every draft. You can never have too many of them.
