I always thought another GM tried talking Gettleman into taking Butler as a joke. "Yeah, he's going to be a mega star, trust me, he's going to be the best thing ever." And dumpster diving Gettleman just knew he'd found that diamond in the rough.

Star made such a huge impact in fixing our pathetic run D from 2012 to 2013.  I’m fine with drafting a 1st round DT, we’ve just picked some poor ones lately.  Hoping Derrick Brown gets his poo together
