The only two rookies I’ve seen play was last Saturday. Howell made plays based on instincts, not being coached up… jeez man get a grip.

Hate to break it to you, but Panthers-Commanders was not the only NFL preseason game that was played this past weekend.

Malik Willis, Desmond Ridder,  Bailey Zappe and others played significant minutes in their games and looked, at the very least, competent.

Contractually speaking,

Mayfield is the lesser of two evils.

Full transparency, I haven't been on board with any qb decisions since... well for quite sometime.

I can barely make it through a Panthers pre-season game, I’m certainly not going to watch others play, because I could give two shits. All of these guys are playing off instincts and will take time to develop. You’re acting like Corral comes to practice and everyone ignores him.

Every other team doesnt have a new offensive system/coordinator, a totally new offensive line, a new qb and a clear qb and backup qb ahead of them.  Apples and oranges.

Teams do this every year. Plenty of other teams have done it before us and done it successfully.

The primary difference between us and them isn't the conditions, it's that they had competent head coaches. We don't.
