• PJ Walker played the most of the quarterbacks, logging 34 snaps. He was followed by Matt Corral (21 snaps), Baker Mayfield (12 snaps) and Sam Darnold (6 snaps).
• Running back Spencer Brown led the team with 36 rushing yards and a touchdown, playing 21 snaps. Chuba Hubbard played 16 snaps and had four carries for 11 yards, while D'Onta Foreman played 12 snaps and had three carries for five yards.
• Brady Christensen played 28 snaps, while Ikem Ekwonu had 16 snaps.

• Rookie draft pick Amaré Barno played 61 percent of the defensive snaps, second-most on the team. He had three tackles, a fumble recovery and a QB pressure.
• Cornerback Tae Hayes had just under 50 percent of the snaps and led the team with five tackles and two pass deflections.
• In just seven snaps, Xavier Woods made two tackles and had a pass deflection.

QUARTERBACKS

• Baker Mayfield got the start and led the Panthers to points, making some plays to keep the drive alive. He went 4-of-7 for 45 yards and was 2-of-3 on third down.
• Sam Darnold was next up and ended a drive with a touchdown pass to Rashard Higgins before Phillip Walker took over.
• Rookie Matt Corral played late in the game but was under siege by the Washington defensive line. He completed one of his nine attempts, and penalties by the Commanders were largely responsible for his “game-winning drive.”

RUNNING BACKS

• Chuba Hubbard and D’Onta Foreman evenly split the 12 snaps with the first-team offense. 
• Hubbard had 11 yards on four carries, seven of which came after contact.

RECEIVERS

• Robbie Anderson was on the field for three snaps with the starters, two of which were passing plays, and one of those featured a deep shot 37 yards downfield. Mayfield looks set to try and rediscover Anderson’s deep ability this year.
• Rashard Higgins played the most snaps (10) with the starting unit, and his touchdown won’t hurt his case to find some playing time this season even when players like D.J. Moore return.

OFFENSIVE LINE

• Rookie first-rounder Ikem Ekwonu played 12 pass-blocking snaps and allowed one pressure in a solid but unspectacular debut.
• Brady Christensen played 28 snaps in his quest to lock down a starting spot in his second season. He didn’t allow any pressure.

DEFENSIVE LINE

• The defensive line featured little in the way of playing time for starters, with Brian Burns rushing the passer twice and free agent acquisition Matt Ioannidis just five times.
• It also featured little in the way of pressure, as Washington got the ball in the air quickly. Nobody on the defensive line recorded more than one pressure.

LINEBACKERS

• Brandon Smith led the linebackers in playing time with 27 snaps on defense, 17 of which were in coverage as Washington passed to try and come back from a deficit. 
• Cory Littleton played only seven snaps but will end up with the best grade of the group thanks to being in on Antonio Gibson’s fumble, knocking the ball loose as he went to the ground.

SECONDARY

• The starters played just five snaps in coverage, with neither Donte Jackson nor C.J. Henderson seeing a target.
• Chris Westry had three targets, giving up a catch each time for 39 yards, all of which went for first downs.

Liking quite a few of those guys with high snap counts for our practice squad: Walker (Rhule’s guy), Brown (Spencer), Kirkwood, Wright, Pleasants, Scott, Jordan (Drew), McQuall, Hayes, Dawson, STOIII, etc..

Only mistake Mays had was a false start. Have to think he will provide great depth.

Mays is supposed to be a mauler and even as a rookie is better than Jordan.

Seems like we really were focused on the passing game.  I still think our RB room is pretty solid though the numbers don't say so.

PJ had a pretty good line for his snaps. Mays and Pleasants looked good on that right side

I tried to watch the OL, but that is hard to do when there seem to be limited replays.

So Tecklenberg gets the majority of the snaps at C.  That means Bozeman and Elf are locked in as the veteran centers.  Tecklenberg is very limited, imo.

Cade Mays looked good when I watched him.  I also found that Austen Pleasants seemed to do well at RT.

I know this will come as a shock to some, but I am guessing that Deonte Brown could be cut first round.  When I watched him, he was dog poo.

Brady Christensen seems to have arrived as an NFL player.  Now if they could simply find a spot for him.  I wonder if LT was really our biggest need during the draft.  I think he was good at G, but not much came his way.

Michael Jordan is being developed for depth, but I think that Mays' play could send Jordan into the #4 G role--and since he does not play C (to the best of my knowledge) it could mean getting cut. Jordan is one of those head-scratchers that must have pictures of Rhule with a goat.
