Corral has done nothing to earn that position at all. I would hate to see him start if Baker got hurt. It could be much worse than Darnold and that is saying something.

He should be number 2 because you drafted him in the 3rd round to be something. If you didn't, he shouldn't be here. Sam is what he is. He's a turnover machine with happy feet that can't go beyond his first read. PJ is a CFL caliber QB. Corral is more than both because he hasn't had a chance and they have.

Second string,  fourth string. Whatever. Delhomme was third string in 2003 going into camp and we all know what happened.  No Corral is where he should be. At the bottom until he proves otherwise.

And how is he supposed to prove anything getting a couple reps a day.

its pointless to argue with guys still in rhules camp at this juncture, their argument lacks complete commonsense

Because the line isn't set yet and several starters missed the game for various reasons. Maybe letting Baker work with both first and second readers helped him worked to his benefit. Didn't Darnold have the same guys?

Darnold didn’t have the same guys. Gantt kept tweeting the OL’s out.

Baker played with:

Christensen - Jordan - Elflein - Corbett - Moton

Darnold played with:

Ekwonu - Christensen - Bozeman - Jordan - Erving

Walker played with:

Erving - Horton - Tecklenburg - Mays - Pleasants

&

Ekwonu - Christensen - Bozeman - Jordan - Erving

I believe Deonte Brown rotated in with Walker and Corral, Wyatt Miller was strictly with Corral, and Dennis Daley was not available to play.

I think Panthers fans have every right to be concerned about the offensive line because if Rhule sticks with this rotation heading into the New England game then that gives what everyone perceives to be the first unit, Ekwonu - Christensen - Bozeman - Corbett - Moton, just one game to build chemistry among themselves and with the starting QB… and that’s assuming that the starters play in week three of the preseason. We don’t have four weeks of preseason anymore, coaches can’t afford to full around with competitions anymore. They truly need to know what the depth chart is going to look like heading into week two of the preseason so that they can use that game as a dress rehearsal and then rest the starters for the third game.

So much angst about 2 series in the first preseason game. Why over think it until we see what happens
