Saw this on NHL Tonight this afternoon:

Even if we don’t go big game hunting with the money that we’ll have by putting Patches on LTIR, I hope we at least bring in Kessel, Stastny, or Rodrigues.

I don’t think you can lose 40 or so goals between Nino and Trocheck and replace them with Kase, Noesen, and Drury. We definitely need a stop gap unless we swing for the fences with someone like Kane or Kadri. Or they could get real ballsy and offer sheet Jason Robertson (though it would 100% be matched).

Not with case but it's more than reasonable to expect 10-15 from Drury, Kase and Noeson I'm unsure of, I think the majority will be replaced by Necas (healthy and playing more minutes) and Jarvis especially Jarvis I'm optimistic but I can see him scoring 30 and going for 65-70 points he just passes all the eye and smell tests.

So what’s everyone thinking after adding Stastny and with Stepan likely back (PTO)?

Once patches comes back:

With the addition of Stastny I think he will be more in a top 6 role with putting Necas on the third line. At least until Paciorretty comes back. I would love to see
