Johnathen Taylor for Cmac ? (Fantasy)

with the #1 overall pick I would take Taylor over CMC.   Which is basically the scenario to an extent. The safer pick at 1 is the better pick IMO.  CMC's past 2 seasons simply have to factor.

but that's only if there is money on the line.  If not take CMC.

I’m keeping CMC in my league. Question: Should I keep S. Barkley in lieu of a second round pick or let him go?

Oof I'd let Saquan go he hasn't been close to the same since the ACL tear and ankle injuries.... I tend to look at injury severity and he hadn't had the burst or explosion he had before.

One broken and the other is probably about to break.  Flip of the coin btwn who will stay healthy this year.

True.  Unfortunately, in fantasy you want the rbs who get all the touches but those guys are always hurt.

When you find one that isn't for a year, it's a cheat code.

As much as people complain, these minor injuries that cost CMC the last two years are probably good for his longevity we weren't going to win anything and he would have racked up anther 600 touches.... If we had been in contention I don't think he sits most of last season.

26 is usually a running backs peak.... Healthy CMC *knocks on wood* He's gonna lead the NFL in fantasy points.

Um actually it's usually the beginning of the downhill slide at this point for many past backs. Todd Gurley was washing out of the league at 26. Of the current backs Derrick Henry had been one of the few in the old school mold who could start week in and week out and continually put up big numbers and not get banged up really bad. But at 28 he's now been dealing with the injury wall. We can hope McCaffrey stays healthy and plays a full season. But to argue we were better off with him being out hurt while accounting for a significant portion of our salary cap and hindering our ability to build an oline is taking positivty to the extreme. When we signed him to that deal we didn't even have a starting QB in place. That's just not how you build a contending football team.

Old school? Todd Gurley had 3 ACL repairs by the time he was drafted (two in college one in HS) He was drafted #10 at the time when he was a top 5 talent because teams knew his shelf life wouldn't be long.... what an example lol.

Reference point.... here are some RBs who had their best season at 26.... Marshal Faulk (much better CMC comparison) LaDainian Tomlinson, David Johnson... ect not to mention Priest Holmes whose age 30 season was insane.

Using guys who have had 4+ major injuries is a bad example.

Edit addition it's a thread about fantasy players why are you in here arguing about his contract and our offensive line in the PAST?

If you're going back 20+ years to find your examples you're making my point for me. I called Henry old school because he has quite literally kept the Titans relevant carrying his team with the likes of average QB's like Ryan Tannehill. The days of Faulk and Tomlinson are getting further and further away. If you're waiting on Christian McCaffrey to dominate like that for the next couple of seasons without any injuries keep hope alive but being delusional is only going to make reality hurt more when it slaps you in the face.

How old are you frank? it's okay if you don't actually remember them....

How about Deanglo Williams? You are clowning yourself pretty hard... age 26.... You also keep saying things I never posted based off wacky assumptions? Show me just one CMC injury that's close to the stuff Gurley had pre-NFL?

Henry and CMC aren't even close in running style or the amount of punishment they take....

So your rebuttal is to throw DeAngelo Williams name in my face? The other running back our team overpaid huge for only to end up regretting that contract later on? I guess we're done here.

Compare Apple to apples Franky... I'm not surprised you were probably still drinking from a sippy cup.

Smh.
