Congrats to DWill for being at 1,022 yards for the season. He ranks third in the league in rushing yardage, and has the highest YPC average in the league of the top l5 runners, Chris Johnson excepted.

....how can they not go with Moore for the balance of the year. While the playoffs are still mathematically possible probably, everyone knows there will be none. Why not take a look at Moore? Or again, does the contract given to Delhomme in essence nullify anyone else?

The Panthers won't lose any money if they relegate Delhomme to backup quarterback.

Not realistically, I think he has about 21 million guaranteed and he's like 9.7 million against the cap this year. So releasing him would cost ~11 million of dead cap space.

Personally, I hope he reconstructed his contract & give a lot back to the team. He already making money good enough, so there shouldn't be any problem reconstructing his contract.

He'll be off the team. He's a #3 QB at best now. Delhomme is too sucky to be even a back-up QB now.

to get rid of Delhomme effectivly we need an uncapped year then back to the salary cap.
