Yeah, didn't like the pick given the options still available but if he's an above average depth OL then it definitely isn't a disaster. 

We probably still have a couple of offseasons of trying to fill out that OL but if we just improve from last year that is a step in the right direction.

If those two can solidify that left side and be competitive there, then we've got our line set for the coming years. 

And more than anything, I hope we've found out center finally and that he earns a good four to five year contract with us that we'll all be happy about.

If you have a line good enough to give one of our QBs some room to work and some muscle for CMC and Chuba to run behind, then we're ready to roll. All our defense needs to do at that point is slow down the opponents. It worked for the Colts throughout Peyton Manning's time there, same for most of the Patriots teams. 

If we have to win our games 41-38 week after week, it sure would be a lot of fun.

I don't see why anyone would consider Ekwonu starting at LG anything but bad news. We drafted him in the top 10 to be our LT. We will have to take some lumps and he might not have a Slater-esque start but I'd rather him get the reps and accelerate his learning curve than play LG.

I just might need to clarify. I want to see Brady at LG and Icky at LT. From the start and through the end of the season. Icky was picked to be LT, let him be it.

You WOULD likely be able to drive a car through the hole Icky would create. We keep saying that we want to be a run first team...
