There was a dude in my fraternity in college who we all liked, and one semester he just kinda disappeared except for a few of the bigger events we had 2-3 times. Never saw the guy anymore but towards the end of the year he told all Of us he was really focusing on school and his grades. All good.
nope - turns out he was addicted to playing world of Warcraft and that’s all he was doing. He flunked out the next semester and I never saw him again. He could be dead now for all I know. Gaming addiction is legit.

Yeah, WoW was a problem for a lot of people I knew. Never really heard of people being addicted to Halo though.

We thought the guy was just getting serious about school. Which was fine. He wasn’t a jerk or anything. He flunked out Spring semester and was never seen again after having to move back home to whatever shithole small country NC town he was from.

I like video games and enjoy playing, hopefully I will have a new system soon but I never got into WoW but know it’s one of the games that grabs people like heroin. I don’t know if it’s still around.
which I guess it’s easy to see why a kid in college in the early to mid 2000s could become addicted to it - endless amount of free time, no real responsibilities, and super fast free dorm room internet.

That halo 1 multiplayer on the original Xbox was legit. I recall going to friends houses in college and having one of those LAN games with two teams set up in different rooms. A lot has changed since those early days but no doubt that Halo 1 multiplayer (the solo campaigns too) is one of the most influential games of all time.

That just shows Baker doesn’t care about winning.

We have a lot of guys like that on the team. He should fit right in.

These leaks from the Browns are def a smear campaign on his way out the door. He must have really pissed off some people In that organization.

Yeah, I remember seeing guys fish network cables down to other dorm rooms for this.

The campaign co-op was great. Spent too much time doing that with roommates back in 2003.

I don’t even know what number Halo is out but for the resident gamers is the new halo that great of a game?

Halo 1; COD Mw2; and Goldeneye 007 are the three GOAT multiplayer games

I got it around Christmas. Brought back a lot of memories for sure.

The campaign was very well done IMO.

Multi took time to get used to since I hadn’t played much halo since college, but it’s as good as I remember halo 2 being.
