It is how the Panthers play in the 3rd quarter also meaning how the coaching staff makes adjustments.  Since Rhule has been here the 3rd qtr performance has been awful, just awful.    The Panther staff has been embarrassingly outcoached.  Have to hope McAdoo has better half time skills and that Snow in his 3rd season has learned a lot....a whole lot.  Maybe Wilkes can help. Glad to have him back.

If the 3rd qtr performance does not improve, it does not matter who the starting QB is.

The redzone is another area we sucked at. Getting touchdowns was a big issue for Joe Brady as our OC. Maybe Bridgewater was right.

We literally lost most games in the third quarter--and the third quarter is the best measure of a coach.

The glass half full in me says the infusion of seasoned pro staff should help to improve this.  I just hope there’s no hole in the bottom of my solo cup

If the 3rd qtr performance does not improve, it does not matter who the starting QB is.

Not sure there has been enough changes to matter in the end. McAdoo was unemployed for a reason. He can only do so much anyway because this is the Rhule show for better or worse. 

Wilks was a nice addition but he was never a great DC honestly.  Great man and leader but not a great strategist.  He should do well in his current position however.  Snow is out of his depth just like Rhule. 

I'm not expecting much to change and predict the outcome for the season to be about the same as last season.

In short, the key to the season is Matt Rhule proving that he's an NFL caliber coach. I'm not holding my breath but I'd be pleasantly surprised to be proven wrong.

It would probably help if Rhule booked some motivational seminars for people on Sunday afternoons, in places like Milwaukee, Des Moines, Little Rock, and San Antonio.  Anywhere but Charlotte or where the city the Panthers happen to be playing a road game.

So?  I'm afraid he alone will not be enough to change the smell coming from BOA. 

But I have come to accept the fact that I will have to endure the Rhule process until the bitter end. He's done a decent attempt to piece together a better offense this season at least I will give him that.

I agree with the OP 100%.  Also throwing the ball deep (with some completions) will help us a ton as well. Last year corners were just sitting on curls, slants, and outs. Opposing Safeties lived in the box. The Offense has to be able to take shots and land a few to keep defenses honest.
