Sam discounted himself when he got bench for PJ in the Giants game.  His audition was last year.  Unless Bakers play has been hurt by his injury, he's the guy.

People don't want to hear it but he's probably back next season unless the whole team revolts.

If a team offered a 4th and to pay half Sam’s contract he’d be on the first flight out. Do you honestly think they’re happy to have Sam on the roster still? And no, releasing him makes no sense. Maybe someone gets hurt and a team gets desperate enough and offers literally anything for him.

 

There is no QB competition. Baker will be the starter week 1 barring injury.

He has to win or the boos will be heard on every TV audio by week 5.    The 2020 problem starts earlier than last year.  

and early boos at home clearly had impact last year.
