Side Note: Outside of Mayfield trading something to Johnny Hekker for number 6, they are only two potential "quarterback" numbers currently available on the roster.

One of them is #13.

Some are speculating that Garoppolo could end up traded to the Browns.

Don't think anybody sees him going to the Seahawks, for certain. Obviously the Panthers are out, so there's not much in the way of other choices left.

The problem with bringing in Cam is that he isn't a plug and play guy in any offense. He needs an offense designed around what he does best which is run. So unless he is a starter who you design the offense around (and those days may be over) he couldn't be a backup and adapt his game to whatever system the team is already running. So the best you could do is sign him to play in the redzone or on 3rd and 4th and short.
