Browns got a open roster spot.

Week 1 its Cam vs Baker battle of 1st vs former teams.

Brown may need a QB given Watson and I do think Cam >> Brissett

It would be the #1 NFL topic leading into week one.

Cam makes the Browns better and is used to poor WRs.

Anish Shroff brought up the possibility while talking to Ellis.

Barring injury, Florio doesn't think he winds up anywhere.

Not sure I buy the idea that nobody will sign him, but I'd agree the doorway back to the Panthers locker room is probably closed...and likely for good.

Seattle was the only other team reported to have shown interest thus far, but that could change.

I will always like cam and hope he can find success again if he wants to keep playing.  I'd rather it not be against us...

Here is a story involving QBs and the Browns.

In the early 2000s the Detroit Lions picked up Ty Detmer from the Browns in a preseason trade.  The Lions regular starter, Charlie Batch, started the season opener against the Packers.  The coach didn't like how Batch played so he benched him for the next game and started Ty Detmer against his former team...the Cleveland Browns.  Ty went out and threw SEVEN (7) interceptions!!!  Most QBs can't get that high because they would get benched, but the coach's ego wouldn't allow him to take Ty out of the game.  He even started Ty again the next game!
