Predictions: Biggest Leap/Biggest Fall

To get the biggest improvement or fall, the chosen players have to start off rather low or rather high.

Therefore:

Biggest improvement: Terrace Marshall. Since he provided next to nothing last year, it wouldn't be a stretch to see him improve quite a bit. The question is, who's going to get him the ball?

Biggest fall: CMC. When healthy, he's simply amazing. I'm not sure he can stay healthy. I know the expectations for him are high, but so is the likelihood of failure.

Leap: I'll go with Christensen. Rumor has it his arms have lengthened by 1/32" so he will now obviously be fit to play anywhere on the line.

Just stopped cutting his fingernails to improve his measurables.

fall - I'm going out on a limb with Elflein, because I don't think he was THAT bad once he moved to center. He wasn't THAT good either. I don't see him being much of a factor at all this season unless there are injuries. Christensen, Mays, and Brown should be ahead of him at LG and Bozeman took his C role.

He might need a shovel and a pickaxe.  He doesnt have much room to go lower.

Biggest leap: Cade Mays. I think he starts on the line by mid-season.

Biggest Fall: Johnny Hekker. I hope I'm wrong about this, but the guy was playing lights out for LA for quite some time, had a big leg, accuracy... wasn't terribly expensive. Hoping he's a stud here but afraid we might have bought a well-disguised lemon. Wouldn't be our first time.

Biggest Leap Up :  Christian McCaffrey ..  Most expect him to be back on the IR by week 4.. I think he'll return to his former greatness and survive the season , actually playing.  1000 + yards receiving .

Biggest Fall,   Sam Darnold ..  I know, he already sucks,  but by mid season he will actually be wearing a ball hat, no pads on, probably up in the coaches booth getting them drinks. ( hat on backwards of coarse. )

For biggest leap I'm actually expecting one of the Secondary (maybe Chinn, Taylor or Hartsfield). I really think Wilks will help this group.

For biggest fall I'm thinking Frankie Luvu (I hope I'm wrong). He played really well last year as part of a rotation. WE are expecting him to fill a bigger role this year and I'm worried he won't live up to those expectations after how well he played last year.

Ron Rivera made Donte Jackson look like a lower round rookie.

He'd certainly had some good games prior to that, but boy did he crash afterward.

That game is probably the greatest illustration I ever saw of the old saying "What I created, I can also destroy".

It truly was impressive how Ron knew exactly how to expose Jackson.  He was never the same after that game, with teams doing the same thing over and over
