What’s up with all the earthquakes around Columbia SC?

Not sure if anyone has been keeping tabs but the amount of earthquakes outside Columbia SC is growing and they are getting more powerful.  Today was 3.5 quake.  Does anyone have any idea why?  This year alone they registered around dozen quakes…

Had another 3.6 quake right after it.

Just in the past week the same area experienced over 10 earthquakes

So according to this map all these 40 quakes are man made… wtf is going on here?  Looks like fracking by extracting fossil fuel rich sand.

it’s a Covia mine owned by Belgian company Unimin.  They are extracting fine sand used for construction material.

Sand is extremely unstable so the mines are collapsing, causing earthquakes.

There's an even bigger problem lurking further north. The Cascadia Subduction Zone. When that thing pops it's pretty much game over for the entire coastal Pacific Northwest. Portland, Seattle, Vancouver. They're basically washed off the map.

Yea, I remember watching about it.  Massive tsunami with like no warning.  It will kill millions if that happens.  I remember them digging many miles inland and finding traces of salt deposits from last quake/tsunami.
