Reality…No we don’t have an endless pool of great talent.  We should have kept Duren and developed him instead of kicking the can with that ridiculous trade.   The Hornets suck and this won’t change

so we traded a Lottery pick for a Lower pick next year to open up $$ to sign Miles.

Now we have that $$$,  didn’t get to use that lottery pick.  And now most likely no more Miles.

 

 

Going into a year where Ball has the decision to sign his rookie extension.  How happy is Ball going to be if we take a big step back this year losing Bridges and don’t sign another Big name to be his wingman like it appeared Miles would’ve been.

And this is why you do not trade a 1st round pick away. I wonder if MJ pockets all that Miles Bridges money and forces us to try to accept the team as is minus Bridges. I certaintly wouldn't watch at that point.
