I love Jake but he should have been on the bench 3 or 4 weeks ago. Fox has dropped the ball and should be gone. You have to be able to make tough choices as a HC in the NFL and he obviously can't.

if Jake is the starter next week he needs to man up and bench himself. He doesn't believe in himself any longer and you can see it on his face and in his body language

I love Jake, but even I'll be surprised if he's starting next week. He's done.

I will be shocked if he doesn't start next week. If the Buffalo game didn't end his starter career, nothing except the end of the season will.

Jake probably does give the team the best chance to win, as sad as that is. I can't think of another team in the league as hurting at QB as we are.

It really sucks that it had to end this way for him.

the 2003-2008 Jake might and that is Fox's logic....that "that" guy is still here....

He isn't......there is no way to assume any backup QB on a roster would be as big of a liability as Jake has been in this offense in 2009.

Logically, starting Moore next week against a 1-9 Tampa Bay team would the best time to do it. Anything after that, considering the remaining schedule, would probably be the death of Moore's shot of a spot on this team next year.

I'm a fan too, and if Jake lines up under center against the Bucs I'll pull just as hard for the Panthers as I would if it were Moore or if they convinced Rodney Peete to come of retirement. It's home against the Bucs, how could you NOT root for the Panthers?
