Canes Vs Rangers Game 7

Instead of blaming every goal on Raanta, you should ask why do we keep letting guys get so close to him that he gets screened or someone else gets a free skate in there for a deflection. The Rangers are doing what we should be doing. Making a crowd in front of the net. I just saw Vinny actually get out of the way of a shot when he was already in the way of Igor's sight. It's like we are missing a lot of details out there.

You act as if a goalie has never played through a screen 5 goals allowed on the last 15 shots faced Raanta is hot garbage.

Welp were fuged. Second year in a row we have been just not good enough in the playoffs. Feeling panther vibes with this team.

Positive side for the most part this team is only going to go up.

Time for a coaching change.  4 seasons in a row wasted now.

Disagree. 4 seasons in playoff contention is a far cry from what we had before for the past decade.

Come on man - Raanta has been soft as hell.  He is not entirely to blame, but he has not been playing playoff hockey.  Heck not even starting caliber hockey.

He's been fine. His last game was on him, but he shouldn't have been out there to begin with. He should've been rested. That decision looks to have hurt the whole team tonight. You guys are expecting elite goaltending when he is a backup who has been performing above average with many flashes of great saves. We would not be where we are without him. If you want to blame anyone, it should be the skaters and coaching for why we look complete ass on the road and why we are always undisciplined and not opportunistic on the powerplay.

We better take a cheap shot at kreider or fox and knock them out for the playoffs like Trouba did to Jarvis. Unfortunately, our team is full of pussies that would never stick up for a teammate

Remember last time someone tried to stand up for a team mate. Svech has gotta lay the wood.

    • I agree with you he is clear cut #1 CB and it isn’t particularly close. And I really like Johnson as well. WR I don’t think he is the best right now but most likely has the highest ceiling. His body control and athleticism is generationally elite. He cannot run routes tho lol he’s out there playing backyard. That can be taught, but I think he ends up a full time CB in the NFL
    • He is overwhelmingly the best prospect in this draft. There is zero question at all about this.  To suggest otherwise is being purposely ignorant.
    • If we had reporters covering this team who were worth their weight in salt, we'd know.  This is an lingering injury from 2021 that he re-aggravated week 9--He claimed to need surgery on December 12.  David Newton and Joe Person should be all over this until they have a response--which should take one phone call
