Mo Bamba...

With the Magic getting the 1st pick, MO is likely to leave. With all the big men that's available,  this is the one I'd love to take a shot on. Still young and will have a true point guard to help. He fits the timeline of the other players.

I'm up for that. He is still young with room for improvement. Melo would feed him.

if we can improve the 5 position we will be a major force next season.

I definitely  have the same logic!! I agree entirely!!! The bonus is he spaces the floor too, so the offense wouldn't get crowded in the paint.  Pick n Roll and Pick and Pop would be  critical.

he's been kind of a disappointment in his nba career. he had so much potential at texas

I agree he started out slow. I think his situation  was the usual Clifford stigma before he actually  got a chance. His timing was off bc Orlando  went out and signed Carter and practically  had to play him at 5. Minutes under the new regime showed he was a very solid player but they botched his development  early on and now he peaking but doesn't fit them. Bamba will thrive at his next stop if he gets burn and a team that believes in him.

    • I'm not saying he should be working in the NFL. He did deserve some criticism as DC there. But Kyle Shanahan certainly did use him as a convenient scapegoat. Now there is no one left to throw under the bus. Anyways he could find his way back to the league in some capacity who knows. But he's old school and in the NFL you either adjust or you get left behind. All the same no hard feelings toward him he's a good guy.
    • he has barely suited up for 50% of our games.  It matters pending how much of our cap and resources go that way.  If he cost in the ballpark of a Surtain? No thank you.  Let someone else  And as far we know what happens when we let talent walk away or trade them…..that’s a mixed bag.   should we of paid Norman, Bradberry at CB? They probably had earned the right to be called better than Horn at that moment of the decision.  Do we regret that? Do we regret Star walking? Can take it back to Spoon.  Flip side is probably Peppers.
    • We need to get better in the redzone. And yes that is an issue that involves all the moving parts. Oline receivers QB and playcalling. But Bryce himself has to lead the charge on that or surely we could face another blowout in one of these upcoming games. Every team no matter how good they are is going to face an opponent that imposes their will on them and requires the same in response. Those are the games where we have got to capitalize on drives. Honestly I get the sense that the Chiefs on some level overlooked us.  So while I am pleased we were as competitive as we were it certainly remains to be seen if this was the beginning for something new or just an anomaly. I think that's a perfectly fair take at this juncture.
