Yes. A good explanation from the googles. So every time they go to their first(mega) line. We can go to our Staal line instead of our 1st-2nd or 4th line before a face off. The Staal line has been obliterating the Boston 1’s. 
 

“When you watch hockey you will notice that there is one team that will change before the other in a consistent order. During a stoppage in play, the “last change” in hockey is given to the home team to be able to send on their players after the away team puts their players on the ice.”

It all depends, you have the easy part which like football is the noise and Energy you get from the crowd, and then you have the benefit of "Last line change" which allows you to dictate the matchups on the ice.... (Kind 9f like an offense can if they catch a defense in a run heavy set and they have 3 wide. except at your own leisure) In games one and two We had the ability  to match Ninoreider/Staal/Fast agaist their top line of Marchand/Bergeron/Pastrnak  Staal is a Two time Selkie winning Center (best defensive center) and that is our best heavy defensive line..... In games thee and four they could dictate the matchups and they put there top line agaist Svech/Aho/Jarvis Bergeron himself is a 5x Selkie winner so it had the dual effect of us not being able to defend their top scoring threats and neutralizing our top C.

 

So yes its a huge advantage.

When can McAvoy return, game 7? 5 days? Or is it 2 negative tests in a row. If he has it I’m worried what’s going to happen to us if this series drags on.

For the NHL it's five days after the last positive test..... Depending on when he took the first one he's all but guarenteed to be out until at least game six.

Since Sunday's Final Horn: For the first time this series the Canes held a full team practice in between games Monday. The team skated for about 40 minutes with Jordan Martinook (lower-body injury) and Brady Skjei being (maintenance) the only absentees.

Scouting The Other Side: The Bruins held a limited skate Monday, featuring Hampus Lindholm, who has been out of the lineup since his hit from Andrei Svechnikov in Game Two. Following skate Head Coach Bruce Cassidy said that Lindholm had not yet been cleared to play, but if he gets clearance, he'll be in. Defenseman Charlie McAvoy is not expected to play in Game Five after entering COVID Protocol Sunday.

Power Play Woes: The Canes have gone 2/22 on the power play thus far this series and 0/10 over the last two games. They've been provided momentum-changing opportunities in each game on the man advantage, but have lacked the execution necessary to capitalize.

Staying Disciplined: In addition to their lack of success on the power play, the Canes have also provided Boston with just as many chances on the man advantage. The difference is that Boston is 5/22 on the series, including 2/9 on Sunday.

DeAngelo vs. Marchand: Throughout the two games in Boston, Tony DeAngelo and Brad Marchand were no strangers to one another. The two were involved in a sequence during Game Three that resulted in both of them going to the box. Then, in Game Four, the two came together after a DeAngelo cross-check on Curtis Lazar for another exchange. The head-to-head rivalry will be one worth keeping an eye on tonight.

Home Cooking: The Canes have won 10 consecutive Round One playoff games at PNC Arena entering tonight.
